The 3 1/2-day Leadership Boot-camp: Guiding Complex Problem-Solving
and Decision-Making Efforts will be held in Monterey in December
8-11, 2008.
Course Location: Portola Plaza Hotel, Two Portola Plaza, Monterey,
CA 93940, Phone: 831-649-4511.
Please make your hotel room reservation as early as possible,
but definitely before November 7th and ask for the IPMP
room block which is $84 for single occupancy and $114 for double. We have
blocked a limited number of rooms. The Portola Plaza Hotel is about a
10 minute drive from the Monterey Airport.
Daily Schedule: Monday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Tuesday &
Wednesday 8:30AM to 5:00PM, and
Thursday, 8:30AM to noon, with one hour for lunch. Lunch is on your own.
The hotel is located in downtown Monterey, near the wharf and there are
a good number of restaurants within easy walking distance.
The daytime temperatures in December tend to be in the 50s and 60s, 40s
at night. Please bring some jackets and rain gear along. Rain is a distinct
possibility in December.
Attire: Business Casual
A continental breakfast will be served in the morning and refreshments
in the afternoon.
