A  3-Day Management Course

Because the SDIC course provides public agencies with the most vital Consent-Building stuff, we offer more SDIC courses on an "Open-Enrollment" basis than any of the other courses. We offer them:

- twice a year in Monterey, CA . . . and once a year in Denver, CO,

- in March of each year in Des Moines, IA,

- every other year in the Northwest: either in the Greater Seattle, WA area... or the Portland, OR area,

- and, sporadically, in the Minneapolis/St.Paul MN area and in the Madison, WI area.

Please note: we offer a 10% discount for 10 or more people from the same organization.

Next SDIC: Austin, TX: July 9 - 11, 2008 Although an exact location and time have yet to be determined, this course will begin on Wednesday morning at 8:30am and will run for three days, ending at 5:00pm each day. Once more information is available the course details will be posted on our website.

Monterey, CA: September 9 - 11, 2008 Although an exact location and time have yet to be determined, this course will begin on Tuesday morning at 8:30am and will run for three days, ending at 5:00pm each day. Once more information is available the course details will be posted on our website.

Albany / Schenectady, NY: September 16 - 18, 2008 The course will be at Mallozzi's Clubhouse at Western Turnpike Golf Course, 2350 Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY 12084. In case of questions ask for Jennifer Ponzi, Tel: 518-456-9837, Ext.3. The course schedule will be Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Thursday 8:30AM to 4:30PM with one hour for lunch. A continental breakfast and lunch are included each day. For hotel room reservations please contact the Belvedere Hotel, 1926 Curry Road, Schenectady, NY 12303, and ask for the government room rate of $93. We conduct primarily "In-House" courses, i.e. courses where we come to your site and put on a training session for your people.  If you have a dozen or more people who need the training, it may well pay for us to come to with such an IN-HOUSE course . . . rather than having you send your people to one of our Open Courses . . . For an IN-HOUSE course, we charge a fixed fee for the first 30 people and only slightly more for each additional attendee. 

However, we do offer a few -- but not very many -- of the same courses as "Open-Enrollment" courses... i.e. courses that are open to anyone, . . . not just to the employees of an "In-House" course sponsor.

We offer the "Open-Enrollment" courses for two kinds of public officials:

1. for people who cannot justify an "In-House" course and
2. for people who want to check us out before they sponsor an In-House course.
