"Just-in-Time" Training Products
on Videotape and CD

"Just-in-time" training refers to training that's provided right at the moment it is needed. Although all training is supposed to help us do our jobs better, there is always the question whether it will really pay off, whether we really will have the opportunity to put the training to work. In the training business this concern has its own jargon term. It's labeled ROI: Return on Investment. To the rescue: "Just-in-time" training, training that is provided right before it is needed, . . . at the last minute, . . . i.e. "Just-in-time."

As clever as the idea of "Just-in-time" training is, it does not lend itself to all training. In fact, it probably has very limited application. Basic background education, for one, does not lend itself to "Just-in-time" training. On the other hand, if your team is about to create an advisory committee -- a CP Technique that's a lot easier to get into than to get out of -- it would be helpful if you and your colleagues could order up a mini-course on the DOs and DON'Ts of advisory committees . . .

To have such a mini-course available whenever you need it, so you can expose yourself to it just in time, that's the idea we had in mind as we produced these videotapes and CDs. We plan to produce an expanding menu of videotapes, CDs, and DVDs. You and your team members will find it useful to not only view them but review them again and again, to immunize yourself from making the errors that you otherwise are likely to make.

Please visit this page periodically; we will -- slowly but surely -- expand what's available.
